ABOUT ME

Even if I was born in San Sebastian, a lovely city in the Basque country (north of Spain), I always lived in Hendaye, a little town just on the border between France and Spain and in front of the Atlantic ocean.

After 5 years studying political sciences in France (in Bordeaux, the world capital of wine!) and Spain (in Granada, with such a beautiful islamic heritage), I just finished university a few months ago. At the moment, I'm doing an internship in Quebec's parliament.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to the couchsurfing "world" by my former flatmate in Granada a few years ago. We went to a couchmeeting and it was really a great experience. I knew some great persons that are now big friends.

Just some months ago, my flatmate and I decided to go "one step further" in the couchsurfing experience. We had just finished the exams and wanted to escape from our student routine. We were hosted in the west coast of Ireland by an outstanding guy. I was so happy with this warn welcome that I decided to create my own couchsurfing profile...

Interests

Travelling (specially by train), discovering new places all over the world, learning new languages, tasting new gastronomies,... - play tennis - sunsets - sociology - hiking (and generally nature) - sing and dance - urbanism - Chocolate - debate about politics and other topics as well! :),...

Music, Movies, and Books

Films: Mullholland drive, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Moulin Rouge, The graduateKill Bill I, Thema & Louise, blade runner,...
Music: It depends on how I feel, but I am almost opened to everything: Pop, electro, folk, rock, chill out,...
Books: I love the golden age of the Spanih literature (XVIth century, for example La vida es sueno written by Calderon de la Barca), romanticism and realism (Faust by Goethe, Le rouge et le noir by Stendhal, Mme Bovary by Flaubert...)but of course always willing to discover interesting new authors!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Whales swimming in the St Lawrence river, 10 meter waves in San Sebastian port. But still so much incredible things to see/do!
