Hello friends! I'm Alex, and at the moment I'm working as an English language assistant at a high school in France. I'm from California (born in the south near the beach, went to university in the north near San Francisco) and I consider myself to be a naturally open-minded and friendly person. I really love meeting new people and learning new things - really anything that makes me remember how amazing life is!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I absolutely love the idea of meeting and getting to know locals in any place that I travel. To do this by staying with gracious hosts is absolutely priceless and makes this big world seem small and warm. I love to have long discussions about absolutely anything and to laugh about silly things and differences between cultures - over some wine or a beer, of course! :)

Music - really anything. I love anything with a compelling beat and sound - and it can be anything from classical to electronic, really!

Books - a LOT of them. I did major in literature, after all!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year, I did a road trip around Iceland with my best friend from university! It was incredible!
