ABOUT ME

Nice, caring, understanding, genuine, enjoys making friends and making them feel at home. Do remember to speak a little louder for the gentleman please as the surrounding environments can be too noisy for him, otherwise he is a great friend to hang out with. The lady is there to support and reinforce what he does.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to live it with unforgiveness in your hearts when people do silly things to hurt you intentionally. Pity them as their actions will rebound back onto them, so why not celebrate the goodness that we see inherent and latent in the hearts of people. So bring it on, enjoy and rejoice together, people!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By meeting up with people, having meals with them in a cosy environment as well as bringing them to places of interests in Singapore, sometimes off the beaten track. Either as one or together as a pair, we are happy when we see our guests and friends from lands yonder enjoy themselves in our company.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is our first time with the CS Community but we have participated in hosting people from other countries before through sites like Hospitality Club and others. It was great fun then as some guests became our close friends and we just attended the wedding of one such friend this year's May in Penang, Malaysia. Yeah! We will fly over to where our friends are when they get married! Because It was A Blast and More Importantly They Are Our Lovely Dear Friends and Family of the World!

And now we would like to get back into the groove again gradually. Although right now WE cannot offer a Couch until our project is over. SO watch this Space for the reopening of our home for Couch-Surfing!!

So far we have had CS Dinners with several CSers from all over the world during the past four months since joining this CS Community. The last one in May 2012 was such a BIG BLAST at Lau Pa Sat!

Movies: The Avengers, Thor, Iron Man and Iron Man 2, Captain America, The Dark Knight Rises, Battleship, John Carter, Clash of the Titans, Avatar, Sherlock Holmes, The Tourist, ARGO...looking forward to Iron Man 3 and the sequel to The Avengers...haha..yeah, we are fans of superheros movie adaptations.

TV Series: The Amazing Race is our all-time favourite, among many other shows

Books: The Cotton Malone series by Steve Berry...too many to list...We simply love watching movies and reading books....we would also be happy if CSers want to catch a movie with us anywhere in the world.

Watching from A Really Close Distance Real Hot Live Lava Flow from Mount Merapi in Indonesia and Wow, can feel the intense heat emanating from the Lava - Alexander

Meeting Up Close with an Astronaut from one of the NASA Apollo Missions in Singapore as well as seeing a NASA Space Shuttle being transported to its launch pad in preparation for its launch at Cape Canaveral, Florida, USA were two of my little dreams coming true, especially now more than ever treasured memories as there will be no new Space Shuttle replacement programme yet for the forseeable future in USA. - Alexander
