Hi! I’m Alex, a 28 year old Belgian student, currently trying to accomplish my dream to be a conservator of natural history collections.

I’ve had a pretty active young life, wherein I’ve done a diverse set of different jobs, travelled a lot and went to all sorts of parties.

Since 2019 year I decided it was time to follow my dream of working with cultural objects in a museum context, and started studying again. I’m currently finishing my bachelor’s degree in conservation sciences at the university of Antwerp, whereafter I hope to complete a Master’s degree as well.

One of my passions is taxidermy, a passion that grew out of the desire to collect skeletal remains of animals. I’ve been doing some taxidermy work, of which an example can be found in my album.

Out of this passion grew the desire to work with these kind of collections on a professional basis, hence the studies I’m currently following.
