ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly, chatty person whose main passions are history and bad dancing. Never properly went travelling so am now trying to catch up and visit lots of groovy places, mainly in Europe but would love to travel further if I had the opportunity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only just got it, but have had good experiences already because me and my friend found our housemate for next year in Bristol through his Couchsurfing profile. Not met her yet but she looks like a proper little legend.

Interests

History (due to start an MA at Bristol uni October 2012), so when I visit places I like to spend hours wandering round Museums reading stuff. Also love dancing, enthusiastically (but not very well) all night long if possible. I'm not too fussy in what I can dance to, but will admit a preference for loud, abrasive bass music.
I think I'm quite easily entertained, I'm quite happy doing most things other than strenuous exercise. Could quite happily sit around chat about pretty much anything, books, or music, or politics, or whatever, for hours in a nice bar or cafe somewhere.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2011 I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, that's got to be the most challenging and rewarding thing I've done.
Winning the Outstanding Delegation award at the 2012 Model United Nations conference (at the UN building as well) has got to be the other one, partly because of the setting and also because of being ridiculously proud of my team.
