👋 This is who I am:

Hello, Couchsurfing community! My name is Alfredo, a passionate globetrotter born in the vibrant city of La Plata, Argentina. My life has been an exciting journey of learning, exploration, and culinary, philosophical, and musical adventures. I'm currently travelling around the world (I was living on a small island in Australia)

From an early age, I immersed myself in the world of dentistry, a profession I practiced with dedication and passion. However, my heart always had a special place for gastronomy. This love led me to switch from the dental clinic to the kitchen, fulfilling my dream of working in a Michelin-starred restaurant in Copenhagen, Denmark. The experience of combining flavors, textures, and aromas to create dishes that delight the palate was simply magical!!

But my thirst for knowledge didn't stop there. With a deep interest in exploring the depths of human existence, I ventured into the study of philosophy, which eventually led me to write a book called "En búsqueda del sentido". This intellectual journey has enriched my view of the world and my understanding of life.

Additionally, I hold a degree in tourism, which has fueled my love for traveling and discovering new cultures, landscapes, and stories. Each trip is a new page in my personal book of adventures, filled with learnings, friendships, and unforgettable experiences.

Music is another of my great passions. As a multi-instrumentalist musician, I find in music a universal language that connects hearts and transcends borders. From Latin rhythms to classical melodies, every note is an expression of shared emotions and experiences.

I'm also no stranger to sports; taekwondo has been part of my life since I was young, and achieving a black belt was a testament to discipline, perseverance, and self-improvement. I also enjoy tennis!
