ABOUT ME

I enjoy chatting over coffee, watching live music, wandering cities, juggling and circus, swing and other partner dancing... nature, the ocean, and some of its creatures.

I like word games and terrible math jokes... discussions about anything and debate over nothing. Games in general make me happy! If you play card games we will get along.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've had many great experiences using Couchsurfing as a way of quickly getting the vibe of a city - I really love meeting new people in new places, and learning where the best coffee places, crazy hiking trips and the best dive bars are located.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed:
Alex in Copenhagen - 1 night, 4 people!
Anders in Stockholm - a few nights, just me!
Arthur in Amsterdam - just me, a couple nights - one awesome outing!
Kena and the Lorax crowd - 4 of us got stuck on a roadtrip and were readily integrated in this amazing student house for a week!
Victor & Mathilde in Pondy - Stayed with them while getting SCUBA ceritifed.
Tamas in London - A few nights with Tamas was lovely, very kind a generous.

I still love kids books, and could probably catch any off handed reference to Dahl, Korman and/or Seuss.

Music is a lot of folksy stuff, and some rock-ier, some blues-ier and some jazz-ier. Depends on the mood.

Movies: I have a tendency to fall asleep in every movie I've ever seen. If I had to describe my favourite style of film I guess... "clever" might do it. Drama, comedy, heist-films. All can be great if they are well written/thought out. I also like old school slapstick comedy (a là Charlie Chaplin/Marx Brothers).

I could probably teach anyone how to juggle.

I know a lot 'about' programming, but am no expert... definitely have a lot to learn - but enough to share!

I'd love to learn how to play better chess!
