ABOUT ME

I am a traveler at heart I think. I have never been happier than when I'm going some where new. I have also never been fully satisfied with my life staying in one place very long. My mind set is generally easy going you will be hard pressed to find something I have a serious problem with. A friend told me once "my freedom ends where yours begins" and I try to maintain that in all my actions and deeds. I share whatever I have whenever I can and am very open about my life and my experiences. I despise needless negativity and fear mongering. I'm terrible at keeping secrets because I have few myself. Otherwise I am a devoted friend and I am funny? so people tell me

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offer a place when I have one. Until recently I wasn't aware of the meetings and such through the website but now that I know, I do what whatever I have the time and money for(especially karaoke).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I learned about couch surfing when I worked at a hostel in Chicago but living in the dorms and university life made participation difficult. I have hosted a few people in Prague and California. I am hoping to get back into hosting now.

兴趣

Everything all at once. I like things that are rare but there is value in everything. I am interested in languages; but I am also terrible at them. I'm clumsy, but I try to stay active. I love connection and practicing its many forms particularly through swing dance. I spend as much time as possible keeping up with the international news and expanding my political, ideological and musical tastes. If I feel the same about something for more than a few years then I'm not reading enough.

I am exploring more long distance biking and camping whenever possible.

Media is a temporary catalyse for human connection and changes as often as anything else. I love Milan Kundera, Margret Attwood, Douglas Adams. Musically its so scattered its hard to say Fiona Apple Angel Olsen, SOAK. Tabacco. Swing music, Elton John

-I saw the norther lights and stood on the artic circle.
-festival of West African masks in Dedougou Burkina Faso
-I hitchhiked to Berlin and ran across the autobahn.
-I may or may not have dodged the FBI for several weeks
