Overview
About Me
I’m Ali from Azerbaijan, passionate about sports, traveling, and meeting new people. I’ve been practicing judo for almost 10 years and I’m also a national champion and referee. I studied abroad in Slovenia and worked in the USA, so I really enjoy international experiences and cultural exchanges.
I’m also a very social person – I like going out, discovering new bars and clubs, and enjoying the nightlife in different cities. At the same time, I love relaxing moments like playing guitar, watching anime, or just having deep conversations.
For me, Couchsurfing is a way to connect with people, share stories, and make friends all over the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to meet new people, share experiences, and learn about different cultures. I love traveling and making real connections with locals rather than just visiting tourist spots.
Interests
I love sports, especially judo, and I'm always curious to try new activities. Traveling and cultural exchange are important to me - I enjoy meeting people and learning about their lifestyles. I also like music (I play guitar), watching anime, and exploring nightlife like bars and clubs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One Amazing Thing I've Seen or Done Studied abroad in Slovenia for two semesters and worked in the USA for three months - both experiences changed the way I see the world
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach judo basics, share guitar tips, or show you some local Azerbaijani culture and food. I'm also excited to learn from you - whether it's new skills, languages, or stories from your country. And if you come to Azerbaijan, I can help you find and bring a special local gift as a memory of your visit.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you come to Azerbaijan, I can host you at my place and show you around the city. I'd be happy to share local food, culture, and some great spots that tourists usually don't know. I can also teach you some judo basics or play guitar together for fun.
