Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I ain't gonna be just a face in the crowd
You're gonna hear my voice
When I shout it out loud

It's my life
It's now or never
I ain't gonna live forever
I just want to live while I'm alive

My heart is like an open highway
Like Frankie said,
"I did it my way."
I just wanna live while I'm alive
It's my life

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2013, hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets in Turkey to protest Erdogan’s authoritarian policies. I was there, at Taksim Square to taste tear gas. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0Uwh971f6w

Faced death in a rescue swimming for 2 drowning people

Gave life to a wounded falcon, found, fed and trasported her to hospital

At age 40, challenged a physical self test, 40 km bike run in the forest under the sun heat of 40 degrees

Sneaked secretly into a meeting for building a nuclear energy plant in my home town againts huge security measures, did what had to be done, protested loud and got arrested

On August 17, 1999, more than 17000 people were killed when a magnitude 7.4 earthquake struck Turkey. I attended severel rescue and social aid missions
