I'm a Glaswegian born Scot who has been living in London now for the past 13 years! Originally a trained jeweller I have moved into set design, art fabrication and prop making in the last few years, and spend most of my summers living outdoors in build crews making the scenery for festivals in England like Glastonbury and Shambala.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's a great way to meet folks who know the area you are visiting well. I'm currently in Alabama and Louisiana for a few weeks while I visit friends for a wedding and would love to explore New Orleans with the aid of some brilliant local knowledge!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being part of a crew that finished the building of the new NYC Downlow for Block9 at Glastonbury Festival last summer. There had been torrential rain every single day for the last 3 weeks of the construction, the site was knee deep in mud and the build was running days behind in the schedule. Despite the exhaustion and terrible weather we all pulled together, worked the extra hours and opened the stage on time!
