Originally from the UK but have recently moved to Vancouver, Canada to chase a more outdoorsy lifestyle and enjoy the ocean and mountains of the Pacific Northwest. I love the easy purpose you get from hitting the road, travelling places and seeing new things. I'm also a bit of an adrenaline junkie, and love all outdoor sports.

I love meeting local people and my best travel experiences have always been when you meet someone who really knows the area, getting to see the smaller things off the beaten track and meeting cool people to share adventures with.
Sadly can't accept guests at the moment as my landlord lives right above me... Hope to repay in the future though!

兴趣

Skiing, biking, triathlon, sailing, wakeboarding and pretty much any other activity that gets me moving. When not exercising I can normally be found cooking, reading, immersed in back to back episodes of Mad Men or experimenting with my latest fad, recent ones being ice cream making (relatively successful) and brewing (very unsuccessful). I've also just purchased an SLR camera so I'm fully expecting this to become my next expensive hobby!

Hiking the Tongariro Crossing (scene of Mordor from Lord of the Rings) and climbing Mt Doom... Then running all the way back down so I could make it in time for a sky dive the same day. Probably my best day ever!

I'm known for remembering random facts and bits of knowledge which I'm sure I can share. Can teach you a few fun games to while away evenings with a cold beer. I'm fascinated by all parts of life, politics, science, economics, spiritual things and always up for learning new things from new people.
