Overview
About Me
Hey! I’m Ali, 29 years old, originally from Iran. I’m an easygoing, curious person who’s passionate about discovering new places and connecting with people from different cultures. That’s exactly why I love Couchsurfing — it brings together amazing people and real, local experiences.
I’m really into learning about different cultures, trying local food, and exploring hidden spots in cities — especially local restaurants and cozy cafés. I also enjoy learning how to cook new recipes from around the world, and I love exchanging food experiences and stories.
Whether it’s a walk around town, a deep talk over coffee, or a spontaneous adventure, I’m always up for something meaningful and fun.
I try to be a respectful, tidy, and friendly guest — someone who brings good vibes and is happy to help out wherever I stay. Looking forward to creating new memories and making new friends across the world!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I love meeting new people from different countries and making real, meaningful connections. For me, traveling is not just about places — it’s about people, stories, and shared experiences.
I enjoy staying with locals when I travel, to learn about their culture and way of life, and I’d also love to host travelers from other countries for a few days — to give them a warm welcome, share my culture, and help them experience the real local vibe of where I live.
It’s all about friendship, cultural exchange, and creating memories that last beyond the trip.

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m really into pop music — it always lifts my mood and keeps me energized during travels. I also enjoy watching classic films; there’s something timeless and inspiring about them that I love.
When I want to slow down and reflect, I often turn to poetry books. I find a lot of peace and depth in poetry, especially in the works of Rumi — his words really speak to the heart and connect people across time and cultures.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most unforgettable experiences I’ve had was taking a boat ride right into the heart of Niagara Falls. Feeling the power of the water all around me, getting soaked by the mist, and just standing there in awe of nature’s strength — it was absolutely surreal. That moment reminded me how small we are compared to the world, and how important it is to keep exploring it.
