ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people, learning new things, being in those mildly uncomfortable situations you know you will grow from. I've realized if you can just get through it things are never as bad in retrospect, and I think thats reason enough to try anything.

I grew up traveling around the world and I've been relatively settled for the past few years, now that I'm graduating it's time to get out there and see and do the things I have been daydreaming about for the past few years.

PHILOSOPHY

Such an open ended question, I really love the line "to live doesn't mean your alive" I think it makes a great point, and I wan't to really experience all the good and the bad this world has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm still a rookie, so far most of my experience has been visiting with friends couch surfers but I'm really excited to start meeting new people, and participating more.

Interests

Long conversations, travel, cooking (even though I prefer to eat vegetarian), I love wine, simplicity, problem solving, the beach, salsa dancing, improv comedy, hiking, running, I love skydiving!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm bad a this category, The last movie I saw was a foreign film at the museum with some dear friends who keep me up to date. When it comes to music I'm pretty open as long as it's not to head poundingly intense, I have a soft spot for the 80's and 90's but I also love latin dance music, Coldplay, Maroon 5, Kings of Leon, Florence and the Machine... When it comes to books I haven't found time to read anything but marketing research in the last few years but I still love spending time at bookstores.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was almost hit by a water spout sailing of the coast of Spain when I was younger, but the best thing by far is Skydiving, it's the most exhilarating pause, it doesn't make sense until you try it. The stillness and the peace of free fall and then floating down to Earth is incredible.

I've been really lucky in that I have gotten to live all over, not so luck in other ways, but if nothing else I can usually muster up a worthy conversation and I'm open to all sorts of ideas.
