Overview
About Me
Ali, 32, originally from Agadir but been living in Essaouira for the past four years, where I teach English at a public high school. Besides teaching, I also enjoy helping foreigners learn Moroccan Arabic (Darija). I love reading and I have a deep appreciation for beer and architecture. though I'm naturally introverted, I enjoy building new friendships and having meaningful conversations with people from around the world. If you ever find yourself in Essaouira, I'd be happy to show you around the Medina or even host you when you arrive.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I enjoy meeting new people from different cultures. I first created my Couchsurfing acount a decade ago, hosted couple of friends, then my profile went inactive for ages as I was busy studying and traveling around. However, meeting up with people allows me to share my love for Essaouira, help others experience the city like a local, and learn some Darija words.
