ABOUT ME

Hi. I'm a senior in college and I study anthropology and pre-medical science! I'm currently studying in Meknes, Morocco. One of my favorite things to do is travel so I'm doing as much of it as possible while on this side of the world. I'm really outgoing and always up for an adventure though I'm pretty laid back about most things and low maintenance. I'm really active; I like to play soccer, hike and pretty anything (besides jogging) that involves physical activity.

I play soccer and I love the outdoors. I like to practice archery and ride horses. I also enjoy photography though I'm very much still an amateur. I read a ton especially scifi and historical fiction. I'm interested in Ancient history and World War II so I read a lot about that sort of stuff. I also love medical subjects so I love to hear about weird illnesses and interesting medical stories.

Love action movies especially if they're kind of funny! My favorite movie is Jurassic Park with Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark in a close second.

I read a lot and my current favorite book is Jumper but I also like World War Z. Speaking of which, I love zombie movies! All types: low budget, rage viruses, comedies, you name it.

I listen to mostly rock ranging from AC/DC to Foster the People. Bruce Springsteen is my walk home from the gym choice and I listen to death metal when I'm trying to forget that I've been running for 20 minutes.

I worked in a clinic in Ho, Ghana and the most amazing thing we did there was visit isolated villages to provide medical care and medicines. I met amazing people including an old woman who said she was about 105 years old who only complained of leg pain because she still worked in the fields. I also learned some Ewe, the local language, and the kids loved to make fun of my bad accent. The experience blew me away but it also taught me that they weren't there to provide me with a life changing experience or to give me "perspective". They were living their lives and it was hard to survive with no education and no opportunities. It was an amazing experience and I'm happy that I could provide some level help for these amazing people who offered their hospitality when they had so little.
