ABOUT ME

i'm a 22 year old american. i recently took a break from studying after 2 years because i wasn't sure what i wanted to do with the rest of my life (is anyone ever sure?) or what to major in at the very least. i decided that sitting in my hometown was not going to solve the riddle, so i packed up and came to Australia. if i gain nothing more towards what i want to study, that's cool with me, because i will have walked away with the experience of backpacking for a year, and that's so much more than any school could teach you, and a lot more fun!

PHILOSOPHY

i don't regret anything, i mean anything. i've made plenty of stupid decisions in my life, but i always learn from my mistakes, so i guess that means there aren't really any mistakes in life, just little lessons along the way. i wouldn't necessarily call it destiny, but i believe that every little choice we make somehow influences our future. i try not to stress about the decisions i have to make, because in the end it will be an adventure!

Interests

laughing, sports-watching and playing, art-especially m.c. escher (i think he's crazy and a genious), reading, the ocean and the beach, travelling, driving, working out, singing-i have an awful voice, but that never stops me

Music, Movies, and Books

music is a huge part of my life, although i can't hold a tune if my life depended on it. right now i'm really into the chilli peppers, incubus, audioslave, alanis morrisett, the beatles and the doors, but i love all kinds of music.
i love those stupid funny movies, especially anchorman, wedding crashers, super troopers...and the lord of the rings are my favorite movies

Teach, Learn, Share

well this is a tough one...i don't have too many practical skills! i'm crafty with beads and hemp!
i would love to learn about the mechanics of cars-i'm sick of getting ripped off by mechanics!
