Hello! We are Alia and Daniel a couple from Melbourne, Australia travelling around Europe. We are fun and easy going and would love to meet you!

Alia:
Hi! I'm is Alia, I'm 27 years old. I was born and raised in San Francisco, California but I've been living in Australia for the past 4 years. I'm a theatre performer, a personal trainer and a cook in a small bakery cafe.

I'm currently travelling the world with the hopes of figuring out what I want to be when I grow up. I believe that the best way to find out the answer is to jump at opportunities, to embrace experiences, and to try everything. I'm very open minded, spontaneous and energetic, I love learning and meeting new people and being exposed to new and different things. My most recent adventures included hiking the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage in Japan and performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

When in a new city I like exploring and finding hidden gems. I love food and coffee, art and architecture and nature so I usually seek out markets and cafes, interesting restaurants, cool alleyways or beautiful gardens.

As a couchsurfer I am easy going and flexible and am always up for a good chat. I also love to cook and share food so hopefully you like to eat ;)

Daniel:
Hello I am Daniel, I am 26 years old, born in Melbourne, Australia. I have spent the past four years working as a waiter in my sister's cafe. Mixed in with a year of study in creative writing and some adventures through Asia.

My main interests are writing, reading and meditation, though the latter has been lacking in practice. I also enjoy playing squash and pondering life in the great outdoors.

I am an easy person to be around, calm patient and open minded. Couchsurfing interests me because I'd like to see how other people live their lives, in all the strange and delightful ways that we do.
