ABOUT ME

We are both artists who enjoy exploring and traveling through different cities. We are backpacking through Europe throughout the month of September and collecting images and experiences as we meet new people and visit new places. We are very easy-going and don't need much, just keep it simple.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now we have no home but once we get back to New York and build out our apartment in Ali's mom's basement, those in the CS community are welcomed.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far. We are complete newbies and would love to have this sort of experience.

Interests

We like going out to exhibits, film screenings, shows, parks, bars, and checking out the city. We are interested in how the people of the city live and not so much the tourist spots. Meeting new people can be challenging, especially with language barriers, and we hope through Couch Surfing we will be able to meet locals and get to know them and their cities.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ali listens to Spanish music (ie: Julietta Venegas) and Mike will listen to anything and everything but prefers reggae, hip-hop, jazz, soul. Ali listens to those things as well, but mostly Spanish music.
We like all movies, good or bad.
Ali likes to read books. Mike likes to read magazines.
