Overview
About Me
Hey there! I'm Alibek. I'm a curious soul who enjoys exploring cultures, trying street food, and having real conversations that go beyond small talk. I’ve worked with international companies across Europe and Asia, so I’ve learned to connect easily with people from different walks of life. I’m neat, respectful, and always grateful for any hospitality — and I’m more than happy to help with tech issues, language practice, or just good company.
Outside of work, I love discovering hidden gems in new cities, cooking occasionally (still pretty bad cook though!), and reflecting on life, often with a sense of humor. I’m also interested in personal development, creativity, and finding meaning in the little things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe travel is not just about places, but people. I enjoy meeting locals, hearing their stories, and sharing a bit of my own culture. Couchsurfing reminds me how connected and generous the world can be.

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m a big fan of books by Carlos Ruiz Zafón — his writing feels like walking through a foggy, mysterious old city full of secrets.
One song I never get tired of is “Sleep on the Floor” by The Lumineers — it speaks to the soul of a traveler.
As for movies, I really loved The Peanut Butter Falcon — it’s heartfelt, raw, and reminds me of the beauty of simple human connection.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went grocery shopping without forgetting the one thing I went for.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Respect for your space, good energy, and a helping hand if needed. I travel light — physically and emotionally. I can offer gratitude, curiosity, and genuine connection. Whether that means sharing stories, a simple meal, or just good conversation over tea — I’m happy to add something positive to your space. I’m always happy to exchange cultural experiences — and maybe even a few local words or songs, if you're up for it.
Countries I’ve Visited
China, Egypt, Indonesia, Malaysia, Serbia, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Viet Nam
