Overview
About Me
I am Alica, the youngest of 3 and the second oldest of 4 siblings. So I am already in my family the outcome of a patchwork. Just the same way as I like the people around me, the food I eat and the countrys I travel. I always try to collect new patches for the carpet that I call my life :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Te learn a language I believe only practice can lead you to your goals. So I try to set my self into situations where I am 'forced' to talk in different languages. With locals, who might even have my age and interests it is always more easy, funny and casually to get into cultures, places, peoples and languages!
Interests
I usually travel with a friend, I guess this Time it won't be different. So we'll need a place where we can stay together :)
I am not too much into making strict plans - spontaneous day tours and visits are a welcome extra while I travel.
- street art
- cooking
- hiking
- camping
- languages
- hitchhiking
- sustainability
- exhibitions
- local food
- hedonism
- spontaneity
- waldorf
- uncommon places
Music, Movies, and Books
I have always music with me. I enjoy to get to know local bands (live concerts👌) and the influences of different locations and cultures in everybodys taste of music! So if you are interested in my library of bands and mixtapes, just ask! :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I guess my biggest adventures were these when I left my "middle-European-socialized-way-of-doing-what-society-wants-from-me" behind me.
Teach, Learn, Share
...I should tell you before 'cause you'll get to know it anyways earlier or later: I really believe in the Waldorf education system and always try to get to know people that have already experiences. If you never heard of it - relax! I'll tell you about it😅
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking skills you would dream of afterwards (everything that begins with 'Q' and ends with 'uiche').
Crafting skills (like sewing your favourite button on your favourite shirt).
And a funny sentence to learn in at least 12 languages! (Something like 'dick in the eye' in Russian, Hungarian and Hebrew - and so on.. 😅).
