ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Alison! I'm currently a student at the University of Pittsburgh, studying psychology and political science. I lived all over world while growing up, and as a result I feel like I can't stay in the same place that long. There is too much to see! I'm ready to go anywhere, meet anyone, and experience as many things as I can.

PHILOSOPHY

Sometimes you have to go with the classics- there's a time and a place for everything. But why can't that time by now, and why can't that place be anywhere?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to host, but as I live at my university thats not really feasible right now. If you really do need a place to stay in Pittsburgh though, get in touch and I can help you find someone.

Though I can't host, I love surfing. I love getting to meet new people and experience new places. This is the best way to travel, you already know someone who can teach you all of the local secrets!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed several times, across the United States, Canada, France and the Netherlands, and I've met some really wonderful people while traveling in Greece and Cyprus. I'm rarely without my favorite travel buddy Diandra, but enjoy traveling solo as well.

Interests

I love walking around and getting hopelessly lost. No music, no map, just looking at every shop and street I come across. I'll even do this in place I lived for years and still find new things I never knew about.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy movies and I love music, but my life would be empty without books. I love the stories, the facts, the unique perspective into someone else's mind you can't truly access in any other way. I can get lost for hours in any book, and I commonly do. I've been on a sci-fi kick lately, though I try to make room for classics as well.
