ABOUT ME

Hi everyone,

We are two girls from Germany called Alica and Kirsten :)
We're both eighteen years old and just finished school this year.
As we don't really know what to study yet, we decided to travel to Australia together to explore the country. Our journey will start at the beginning of november and we will stay there for about six months :)
Being backpackers we're always happy to find a cheap place to stay.
We're both very open-minded and always love to meet new people, especially locals in order to experience the real Australian lifestyle.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, we are travelling around Australia till March, so we hope to find some friendly fellows to host us now and then. Its not about sleeping somewhere for free, but about finding new friends and having some great adventures and lots of fun. And who's a better guide than an inhabitant?
When we are back in Germany we would be very happy to host ourselves and give back the hospitality we'll hopefully receive :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have done couchsurfing here in Australia the first time. We stayed with a couple of hosts and it was really great every time! we got to know lovely people and became close friends with some of them! We had so much fun so far and we are looking forward to hosting ourselves back in germany :))

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

Uhm well there are so many great movies out there.. We like a lot of different movies especially comedy, but we also like drama, action, thriller, fantasy and even a little scifi (well one of us).
It's the same with music. We enjoy almost every kind of it, so maybe it's easier so say what we don't listen to.. We don't really like heavy metal, techno music and mainstream chart music (except to dance in a club)
We are always searching for new bands etc, so if you know someone great, please tell us!
