Hello!
My name is Alice Adamova and I`m 18. I’m from Siberia, but now I live in Saint Petersburg. I`m studying in Saint Petersburg State University of Culture.
In my opinion, the best way to get knowledge about a person is to know his interests and hobbies.
To start with, my first hobby is singing. I have been singing since I was 5 years old and sometimes vocal was the only thing I did for weeks. Also I play the guitar and I love it very much. The difference between these two activities is that singing often is my job, because I worked as a principle singer in town theatre last years, but playing the guitar is the activity only for my soul. Theatre is another hobby of mine and it is connected to singing. I performed in international musicals by Anglo-American-Russian production as a main actress for three years and I do like this project. Simultaneously I took such responsibilities as hosting English students and interpretering. But now I study a lot and I stopped the stage work (but who knows, maybe not forever but just for the nearest future).
One more hobby of mine is travelling. I think everyone likes it and everybody understands the meaning of this process for a person. Travelling helps to cope with stress, forget about everyday routine and get knowledge about new places and culture.
Also I like to work as volunteer for different events to develop my organizational and communicational skills.
Finally, I like reading, and books are the world for me. I can find good advice there and exciting stories, isn`t it amazing?
So, as for my studies, I`m studying as a manager in cultural sphere and as an interpreter. I`m really interested in it and I`m sure I`ll get great skills and knowledge in this university, and I hope I`ll become a good specialist. And I hope that studies and traveling will help me to become a broad-minded person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that traveling is a dreat way to know cultures and to meet new people. I strongly believe that traveling is a way to know our world better and then to know yourself better, so couchserfing can help with it.

- stayed with my friend in England for two weeks and had a lot of fun
