I'm new to couch surfing! I made a drastic decision a couple of months ago to take some unpaid leave from my job and go travelling in the US and Quebec (with a bit of SE Asia on the way home). My main mission is to meet lots of new friends and I think couch surfing will be a great way to do that!

I hope that, by staying with locals, I'll be able to learn more about the "real life" in the places I visit. I'm looking forward to being able to return the favour when I get home !

Intereses

Growing up in New Zealand, I spent all of my summers either surfing in Christchurch, or waterskiing at our holiday house in Akaroa. I've more recently gotten into SUP boarding as well.
I love hiking, and nature - I hope to do a few day hikes on my travels.
I'm also really into music - I play the guitar and the violin (and the piano very badly!).

Algo increíble que he hecho

Last summer the dolphins in Akaroa were in a super friendly mood, and I got to waterski and swim with them 4 days in a row out on the harbour from our boat. A couple of them swam away and did some flips to show off then came back. It was epic!

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I'm an easy going, happy person. I hope to share lots of laughs and life stories with my hosts! I'm a reasonably good cook, so would love to cook everyone a meal!
I also would hope to be able to return the favour and have my hosts to stay if they ever to decide to venture all the way to NZ.
