About Me
I'm 23 years old and currently living in Stockholm while I do a semester exchange in Architecture!
Prior to this I have been living and studying in Adelaide, Australia where I will be returning in January.
Last year I took time off from uni to travel Europe and Japan for 6 months on my own...hands down the best decision of my life! So many lovely people, lovely meals, lovely buildings and lovely life lessons.
While travelling I like to spend as much time with local people as I can :) hence the couch surfing!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I couch surf to meet new people and hopefully get a better taste of the local culture :)
Interests
I love people, food, architecture, art, music and being outdoors. One of my favourite things is just to go for a walk, bring and book and quietly enjoy the atmosphere of a new place.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite author at the moment is Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie....she absolutely brilliant! Particularly her book Americanah!
I love movies so much but my mind has gone blank apart from that horribly sad A Little Princess which was my favourite as a child.
I love all music, and enjoy discovering bands and singers from different countries. When I'm travelling I often listen to Australian music to stop me missing home :) at the moment I'm listening to Gregory Alan Isakov, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Emma Louise, Margaret Glaspy, The Tallest Man on Earth, Courtney Barnett, Oh Mercy, and Joni Mitchell.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As a seven year old child I did a 4 day hike through the Himalayan mountains of Bhutan, one beautiful afternoon we set up camp beneath the trees in a walnut forest. The floor was carpeted with golden leaves. We played with the children from the local village... I remember they said they walked 4 hours a day to get to school.
I know some people think it's a waste taking a young child on a trip like that but it opened my mind to the vastness and variety of the world. It shaped the person I became.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer a cheerful positive attitude and lots of conversation...I can also attempt to cook a meal or bake a desert :)
