About Me

I‘m Alice and I‘m new member in the Couchsurfing Community. I‘m an experienced traveller though. So far I usually stayed at friends places or with hostfamilies. So I‘m really excited to try something new and find new friends via this platform.

I‘m a super open-minded Person and I‘m easy to get along with. It’s easy to excite me for something new. I‘m spontaneous, optimistic, reliable and respect the privacy and lifestyle of others.

Of course I love spending time with family and friends. Especially during the holidays it‘s awesome when everyone comes together for some quality time.

Interests

Besides travelling I love to do all kinds of sports, especially running long distances (at the moment I’m practicing for the Vancouver half-marathon). But I also already tried all kinds of dances, played volleyball, soccer, basketball, rugby... I‘m super excited for the soccer World Cup in June.

I‘m also really into cooking and baking. I‘m a vegetarian for 2,5 years but I also respect if someone enjoys eating meat.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the 90s but I am also into charts. But usually I listen to almost everything.

Most of the time I watch comedies but I‘m always in for something new. I watched every single episode of how I met your mother and to my own surprise really got into game of thrones.

My all time favourite books is the Harry Potter series. I reread it like a hundred times. But besides novels I read a lot of nonfiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are so many awesome experiences but I think one of my favorites is when I spent a summer with a hostfamily in Brazil. I got to know so many kind people and I‘m really thankful for all the wonderful moments I had there.
