Hi, my name is Alice. Going to new places, investigating new culture and meeting new people makes me happy more than anything else.

Generally I live in Chelyabinsk, but every few month I need to change place for a while to stay inspired and refresh my head. I work as a contemporary art curator: curate exhibitions, organise events and public projects in my city and beyond it — I work with my wonderful friends and colleagues all over the country. I love my city and strive to make it better together with my team.

I'm collecting my own little library of fiction and non-fiction books that I like to talk about.

I try to always keep sports in my life and never miss a chance for yoga, stretching, working out or biking.

I'm a big lover of nature and mountains – I can't call myself a cool experienced tourist and camper , but I'm on my way! Also I can sit straight for a long time watching birds or animals:)

With new people I'm usually friendly and calm, can be a little shy and more of a listener; sometimes I need to be a little silent to recover, for example, from a long road. But I adapt quickly and become active and talkative:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hotels are boring and make you feel lonely and isolated! I want to get to know places I visit for real, I want to hear people's stories and tell my own.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Together with a friend we opened an underground gallery in a bunker, and over 6 years it's been the most important place for all creative young people in our city, which raised a lot of artists
