About Me

CURRENT MISSION

learn to wait..and stop waiting!

ABOUT ME

What people notice most about me is...I make people around me feel happy. This because with me they find it easy to forget their problems and realize that there's alway a solution...because what I've learned, after years of difficulties, is: everything is useful, nothing is essential. And this is how I live my daily life: I don't waste anything..but I also don't depend on anything to be happy and satisfied.

PHILOSOPHY

Feel free..and you'll be free

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will be able to host people as soon as construction works are over in my house..But I am happy to tell tips about Venice or other places I've been to!! And also show you around if I'm in Venice (which I'm not that often though..)

Interests

I am a person who is never bored, even if I am completely by myself, there is always something that gets me passionate. This goes from hobbies considered more "intellectual", like reading, to others more "artistic", like photography and writing, to others considered more "silly", like making weaved bracelets. I also love sports, in particularly jogging - I try to find time to go at least 3 times a week for an hour - and spinning (indoor cycling). I am also super super interested in learning surfing and sailing, but never had the chance yet.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: 2014 has been the year of my discovery of Bigas-Luna. I feel in love with Son de Mar.
Books: I read tons and tons of novels, mainly authors from the 20th century. Favorties are Milan Kundera (although I don't like how he depicts women!!!), Sandor Marai, Hermann Hesse, Italo Calvino, George Orwell, Jack Kerouac, J.r.r. Tolkien... And, from the 19th century Victor Hugo (the book "l'homme qui rit"!)
Music: don't have a fixed genre!I always have Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen on my mp3, they've made a song right for every mood..now I am maniacally listening to: Bongo Botrako, the Black Keys, Le luci della centrale elettrica, Ettore Giuradei Giuradei, Guns 'n roses, Def Leppard (and many others i can't think of right now..)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is just too hard!!!I'm easily astounded... The most life-changing experience in my life yet has been wwoofing in Lipsi, Greece. .I went there by myself, because I was living in a very sad moment of my life...and there my whole perspective on things deeply changes..it was as if I had accomulated so much positive energy, and there it just exploded...I figured out what to do with my life (or actually, the next year of my life :) ), came back home and finally graduated! Now I am ready for anything that comes up..because I've learned that life really does change suddenly, when you don't even think it could..and it does so from completely unexpected moments.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach to listen, i want to learn anything...as I said, everything is useful (although not essential :) ).
