About Me
Hello lovely people of the world! ll be spending some time in Switzerland and Germany this summer while on my way to and from a summer camp where I'll teach English and Music. I'm very excited about it! I have recently been enjoying getting back into couchsurfing. It was such a meaningful part of my past travels and is one of my favourite ways to meet people in new countries. If anyone is interested in my profile please get in touch! A big warm hug to you, my as yet unknown friends :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the whole philosophy of couchsurfing- that we are all one people, one global nation, that we have more in common than we are different but our differences are exciting and we can learn from one another so that as a planet, with every new interaction and every new exchange we can become more tolerant, more open and more accepting.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: The Power of Now, The Art of Learning, the Life of Pi, The lightness of Being, Eat love Pray, Eleven Minutes, Veronica decides to Die,
Films: lots of mainstream ones like Don Bluth films, Shawshank Redemption, Into the Wild, Pixar films, Juno, Groundhog Day but also smaller, more alternative ones like The Lives of Others, Before Sunset and Before Sunrise
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hitch-hiked from Cork to Belfast and back. I loved hitch-hiking- a friend recently called it the "endless miracle" which sums it up pretty well i think. It showed me just how generous people can be to a complete stranger and it made me feel really warm about the human race.
Teach, Learn, Share
hmmm I could teach knitting, Yoga, Zazen mediation, how to play the piano/Clarinet/recorder, how to cook/ bake, a bit of Irish if anyone is interested. I'd love to learn anything and anything you have to offer.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I usually love to cook people dinner as a thankyou and just share authentic presence with you. I love openhearted juicy deep conversations and am very happy to share that. If you have an instrument, I'm a good jamming buddy or can even teach you something new if I can. I can also guide you through some yoga/meditation if you are into that. Happy to share whatever would be of use to you in the moment.
