ABOUT ME

I am 25 and have been travelling for 8 months in Central and South America and have loved every second. I have taken 15months off work and will be travelling and working for the most part in OZ.

My friends say that I'm always good to talk to and give good advice, think that must be my Social Work training :-)

I am very open minded and excepting to how people choose to live their lives. I am easy going and go with the flow, previously I have always had to have a plan but I have learnt that being spontaneous and following your heart is a lot more fun.

PHILOSOPHY

No matter what goes wrong, just keep moving & live for the good moments. Open up your mind and just live for today because each turn we take is another chance and opens up another door. Life is what we make it, nothing more and nothing less

I am travelling at the moment but would definately being willing to host if I go back home or get a permenant place to live.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never couch surfed before...brand new experience for me but I have heard a lot of good things about it.

Interests

I like good food, wine and good company.

I would really love to learn to surf. I love being by the ocean and in the sun!

I love wildlife, the outdoors, hiking camping and generally getting back to nature.

I don't take myself to seriously and love meeting new people and hearing about their stories and adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all types of music from acoustic to techno and deep house to reggae and samba. Travelling South America made me really appreciate live music and the feeling of freedom that comes from it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow this is a tough one. Ive seen and sone so many amazing things on the trip so far, hiking the Inca Trial is probably one of my biggest achievements, working in a school in Honduras and seeing the smiles of the children's faces every morning, scuba diving off Utila Bay Island, hiking up a volcano on Ometepe Island, Nicaragua...this list goes on!

Teach, Learn, Share

Being from Yorkshire I can make a mean yorkshire pudding and a cup of tea :-) I like to think that I am gracious and always keen to help out around the house. I have been a vegetarian for most of my life so I can share some of my delicious vege recipes with you. I have many stories about my travels around Central and South America and I love hearing tales of other peoples travels.

I would love to learn how to surf, play the guitar and cook meat. I know this is strange but I have only just started eating meat and I don't really have a clue how to cook it.
