CURRENT MISSION

Well as I'm in Tokyo at the mo, my current mission is to get to know the city as much as possible, can't wait for the cherry blossoms!!

ABOUT ME

I am new to couch-surfing myself, but at University I lived with a friend who is regularly surfing and hosting so I have been somewhat involved in that sense, and have met some really great travellers in doing so.
I have a strong interest in teaching little ones and have just spent 6 months in India volunteering at an NGO school. I loved running around playing silly games and helping the young ones learn how to read. I really love India and will definitely go back again!
I'm in Tokyo at the moment and loving the culture contrast and all the beautiful parks and little nooks and crannies it has.
I love exploring new places, walking everywhere, and being surrounded by fun loving people who make me laugh.
I don't know what my future holds but I'm pretty excited for whatever come my way. Looking forward to meeting you!!

I can't host at the moment but would really love to meet people in Tokyo for sightseeing, walking, drinking or eating!

Interests

I like watching films, I don't really have a favourite genre but one of my all time favourite films is The Never Ending Story, what a classic! I like arts and crafts, I paint and draw sometimes on a rainy day.
I love being outside, whether I'm geo-caching, attempting mountains, walking along rivers, exploring the wilderness, getting lost in cities, or just picnicking in parks. She the sun is out, so am I! I am a fun loving person and love being around lots of people who aren't afraid to be silly and have a good old laugh.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am definitely more of a visual person and enjoy films more than books, I am always in the mood to watch a film I haven't seen before. I very rarely read fiction which surprises me because I have a very vivid imagination but just can't seem to get into books if they're not based on a true story. I also like all sorts of music, although I am partial to reggae, I don't know band names and I dot have favourites but I love listening to live music and will always be up for a gig!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm, that's a hard question. I've seen quite recently so many street children being saved, given homes and education. Teaching these little gems how to read and playing games with them and watching them play so happily in their new environment...that was pretty amazing to me.
