Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

One of my favorite experiences abroad was traveling to the Perfume Pagoda in Chua Huong, Vietnam, where I hiked to the "Dragon's Mouth," which is an immense cave. We rowed along the Yen Vi River in canoes while taking in the lush, green countryside. Afterward was the tough trek to the cave: it was rainy, humid, and the stone steps were precariously slick and steep. At the top, there was a pagoda inside the Dragon's Mouth. Prayers were chanted and sung, hanging in the air with fog and the smoke of incense.

In the states, one of my favorite experiences was hiking up Mt. Hood to Flag Point fire tower/lookout. Though the trek was only 11 miles in, the steep climb in heavy snow was both challenging and spectacular. We hiked past dusk and for another hour into the eerie, moonlit stillness of the night. Because we arrived after dark, we had no idea what our view looked like from the fire tower we were sleeping in, but we woke up to discover an incredible panorama of the mountain and surrounding area. Fell in love with the Northwest all over again.

I love to teach other people how to do yoga, acro yoga, and partner acrobatic tricks! Our bodies can do more things than we imagine.
