HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i'm always more convinced of the Ubuntu philosophy"Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu", that means:
"a person is a person through other persons" , "i am because we are"... i try to live this day by day, above all with hospitality (even if unfortunately not everytime it is possible)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i was guest in beograd with CS (very good expierience). I hosted, when I studied in pisa,by hospitalityclub!
It was a great expierience, i think it's really beautiful to open your doors and offering the place as a gift for strangers... to know more about other cultures, and surely to know new friends...
i just finished my travel from Russia, trough a big piece of Ukraine and Moldova... it was amazing... the people i met were the biggest art of my travel,more then places i visited..

MOVIES: I like European movies (Italian: La meglio gioventù (very long- 6 hours) :),"Io no", many Benigni-movies (La vita è bella, Johnny Stecchino, Non ci resta che piangere ...), French ("les Brodeuses",...), German ("Alles auf Zucker", "Goodbye Lenin", and many more ) Documentary Films from Micheal Moore, "The Corporation", "The Agronomist", ..., films from Kim Ki Duk, and others

MUSIC: I'm a bit selective :) I like generally reggea music (from Bob Marley to Peter Tosh, Gentleman, to Kenyan Raggea,...) some Ska, some Italian Music (Jovanotti, Rino Gaetano, some songs of Ligabue,Modena City Ramblers, De Andrè, De Gregori, Mannoia,...)... I like Cat Stevens (or better: Yussuf Islam), the old songs of Tracy Chapman, i like Blues (above all John Mayall) and some jazz (but I'm not really an expert in it)

BOOKS:oh difficult, i read a lot, i like books about the expierience of life (like anthropolical book, philosophical, but froma a history of life...)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

i've eaten rice with fresh fish and coconut in a small african village in kenya at the coast. there were no turists, there was only me with 4 italian and 3 kenyan friends. we ate with hands this rice, prepared on the "jiko", we was siting at the groud... it was an amazing experience,really

More than learn from me, I thing we can have some very constructive conversations about different topics. I think everyone made his expierience and so his opinion is always a bit different of other,because of the background so I can tell you about my life, my travel, like everybody of you! I did. i hope we will share our cultures, so i'm very curious about your habits, thoughts, your art of cooking :) (when you come to me you have to learn me something!;o)), ...
