This is Alice. I'm just a regular lass stressing out on life a little bit too much. Very, extremely self-deprecating.
I tell the worst dad jokes and laugh at my own puns; can't say no to pastries nor to any other food to be honest.
It takes ages to actually set for an idea and I always end up convincing myself it was the wrong one. This creates a good basis for very funny stories, trust me.

I studied modern languages, English and Russian to be more precise. Got interested in Korean culture, integrated it into my bachelor's and ended up finding out about Korean minorities in Central Asia. I want to pursue a Master's degree in Migration Studies with a strong cultural identity focus and deepen my research on the modern days Korean community in Central Asia countries.

I travelled a lot in the past, but it was only after my graduation that I started travelling solo. I visited Lithuania for 3 months and then embarked on a lifetime travel to Australia. One year spent among people from all over the world really broke my prejudices and preconceptions, made me grow up and find friends for life.

I decided to subscribe primarily to host travellers during my studies, as Venice is a first in the travel list of many. Although I moved away from the city, I haven't ended my subscription because Couchsurfing is not only about hosting people, but it's about sharing in general. I like to meet people through this website or be their guide when I can.

兴趣

I'm fond of cooking and I like to learn and experience new cuisines whenever I have the possibility to. So far I've cooked almost only European dishes, but I moved towards Korean and Japanese cuisine too. I aim at mastering Thai cuicine though.
