ABOUT ME

Hey ^^

After working hard for many years towards becoming a psychologist, I randomly met a lady on a train, found out about her recent travels and within 4 months I was living and teaching in South Korea. I spent 2.5 years there, travelled to Japan, Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam, spent time in China and now I'm on the road again working on my travel blog. It's a wonderful life!

I love people and experiencing new sights, smells and sounds. Going to South Korea was the best thing I ever did and the adventure hasn't stopped since.

PHILOSOPHY

As long as I'm meeting interesting people, seeing new things and learning something in the process, have bread on the table and a roof over my head, I am one happy lady.

I used to think that I had to always concentrate on my career and work endless hours to be happy - but that really isn't the be all and end all is it.

I love lots and lots of music!!! I drum and really like to check out live music.

Any movie which is creative and thoughtful gets my vote: David Lynch movies, Pan's Labyrinth, House of 1000 corpses, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, The Blues Brothers, Wayne's World, Seven, Children on Men, 28 Days Later, Donnie Darko...

Welcoming in the New Year at an underground London party with Indian drummers.

Cycling in Ayutthaya in Thailand - it is a really magical historical place.

Hiking through the Kiso Valley in Japan. It was Winter, snowing, no-one was there, it was perfect.

Most people have done it but going around those temples in Cambodia was just mind-blowing.

Motorbiking from the bottom of Vietnam to the absolute top of it solo for 2 months: that journey changed me.
