I recently decided it was time to fulfill my wanderlust dreams and head west. I sold and donated all that I could of my belongings and had an emancipating bonfire with the rest of that crap. I never knew one could acquire so much stuff! With me, I brought my necessities only: 1 duffle bad, 1 snowboard, and 2 dogs (My furbabies Monty and Dobby, lab/ border collie mixes). For the last year I was consumed in an 8 to 5 full time job that i was miserable with. I would surf the internet dreaming of all the places I could travel, never realizing how attainable they could be. Leaving that lifestyle behind, although recent, has been the best decision in my life up to date. It's a little more difficult finding lodging traveling around with 2 dogs, but I could never do it any other way. They are wonderful travel companions!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here to find safe, affordable lodging on my journey throughout the West Coast. I plan on finding an area that I fall in love with before temporarily settling down to build a base camp for my travels. I am leaning towards Washington state, Idaho, or Colorado. Then, I hope to be a host for couchsurfing as well!

Favorite Books- Inkheart, HP, I recently read The Timekeeper and really enjoyed it. Currently reading "Monkey"- A Folk Novel of China

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On my road trip out west, I got to mark "Sandboarding" off of my bucket list at White Sands National Monument, New Mexico. It was pretty rad! I was BLISSED out beyond measure. Got to experience this moment with my father and my two dogs, pure happiness :).
