About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live a life filled with good people and good times, while giving something back to this amazing world!
ABOUT ME
I'm a kiwi (New Zealander), living in London with an amazing bunch of people who are now my family! I absolutely love travelling and meeting new, crazy (in a good way!) people. I still have my funny NZ accent even though I've been away from home for four and half years now! It's great being in this part of the world, making so many incredible friends from all different countries, love it!
PHILOSOPHY
I need to wake up every day knowing that I'm making some kind of a difference to this incredible world we live in. I live to laugh, to love and to share.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I travel I like to really get to know a place, I'll just wander, get lost, and enjoy stumbling across new, amazing places and meeting great people. Staying with a local is an amazing experience, and it enriches your travels. I'm not one to have a hit list of tourist sites that have to be ticked off frantically, I prefer to just immerse myself in the everyday-ness of a place and its people, that's what's really special. :-)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm a newbie, I've couchsurfed once and it was brilliant! I've also randomly fed 9 couchsurfers an impromptu Christmas Dinner, we were from all over the world, most far from home (as was I!) and it was the best Christmas ever!
Interests
The environment, especially the ocean, diving, surfing (beginner!), snowboarding, hiking, live music, spending time with fun, open minded people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I resuscitated a sea turtle in Thailand. It had been drowned in a fishing net... but I brought it back to life :-)
Snowboarding through the trees in deep powder in Japan, floating down the mountain :-)
Diving in Sipadan, everywhere you look seeing a turtle or a shark :-)
Teach, Learn, Share
As an campaigner for Greenpeace, I'm happy to share experiences and thoughts on how we can take action to make change.
