About Me

CURRENT MISSION

work hard ,play hard .

ABOUT ME

My name is Alicia and I am the only daughter in my family. I grew up in KL, Malaysia and I move to Singapore after my studies, but have always had the desire to seek new places. I will always be a searcher in all that is life :) I hope to meet similar people who are optimists and enjoy living life spontaneously!

PHILOSOPHY

I live for freedom!! To be in each moment, no past, no future, only present! I believe that to be courageous, you need to live life in the unknown, to not know what each day holds. That is true living.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to experience different cultures, so if you are in Singapore I would love to show you around and get to know you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No experience surfing or hosting but so keen to meet new people!! It's definitely an new try for me, learning about different people and their cultures. I find it to be very interesting and fulfilling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

The travel experiences that become lifelong companions are the moments when you stop being an invading alien and connect with someone who may not speak your language or share your culture.
Stepping outside of the comfortable tourist zones and into the community can elevate you from an economic opportunity to an honored guest and even a friend.
There are a number of ways to respectfully visit and interact with a host country: learning the language, customs and culture; volunteering your time and skills to disadvantaged people; and supporting businesses with environmental or social justice missions.
