My name is Alicia and I am 21 years old from Wisconsin! First and foremost, I enjoy being outside. I love hiking, biking, longboarding, gardening, camping, and hula hooping. Other not outdoor activities I enjoy are reading, playing flute and piano, canning, cooking, fermenting and crafting. My interests vary but I am always open to learn what someone has to teach me, especially if they are truly passionate! Overall I try to always see the world with at least a silver lining. Positive thinking moves mountains if you are willing to put in the work as well!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing to meet new people and locals in areas I hope to travel. My household hopes to one day be a host for couchsurfers in Wisconsin! I enjoy farming and gardening and I plan to travel to pursue those opportunities.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy almost all genres of music but I especially enjoy, although they seem very contrasting, folk and edm music. My favorite movie of all time is Moulin Rouge, mostly because of the nostalgia. But I also enjoy Pulp Fiction, Pan's Labyrinth, Clockwork Orange, Naked Lunch and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
My favorite books are Handmaiden's Tale, The Great Gatsby, and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This past year I have worked on an organic CSA farm for the first time!
I have visited New York City and seen a show on broadway, gone swimming in the ocean in Florida, attended a summer camp in Northern California and played in a band in Missouri!
