Eating, reading, meeting new people, and exploring new places are a few things I enjoy, but most of all, I love to dance.

Although I am not a musician, I music moves my soul, so I am always looking for a great place to see some live artists (or having a home jam sesh). The sky is the limit on the genre too.

I am an engineer and thoroughly enjoy going to work every day. A lot of my focus is around energy efficiency in buildings and making operations more efficient, so my career is pretty awesome.

As of late, I have been reading the Economist newspaper and really enjoy learning about policy and politics around the world.

Also, I may be American, but I did not vote for Trump nor am I happy he is our "leader." I thank the founding fathers every day for installing a system of checks and balances.

I am using couchsurfing during my travels to make new friends and have interesting, local experiences. Most people who know me would say that I don't know a stranger, and this is true. Meeting new people and learning new things from my time with them (or vice versa) is something I truly cherish. Really interested in seeing different ways of life, viewpoints, and trying things I may have never done before. I am definitely ready to explore new cuisines!

My goal is to really get to know people. There is such an incredible feeling being invited into someone's HOME. Every trip I have had overseas, I have stayed with my family, a friend or relatives of my friends, and those times together are extremely special to me. I am hoping to make similar memories through the couchsurfing experience and hopefully provide memorable and cherished times for my hosts.
