Hi! I'm Alicia. I consider myself to be a positive and open-minded person. I'm passionate about many things including music, art, and the environment. I like to try new things, and visit new places. So far I haven't traveled much outside of the US, but this is only the beginning and it's very exciting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The mindset that you must have a lot of money in order to travel has been instilled in me and many people across the world. I want to couchsurf to prove to myself and others that you can travel and have enrichening experiences without spending much. I look forward to meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and living my life without the fear of the unknown. You only live once, as they say, so this is my journey to living my life to it's fullest!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done in my life so far is move from Los Angeles, my home of 27 years, to New York City in 2013 , without a plan or much money. I have grown immensly from this experience and am proud of the bravery it took to take a chance.
