About Me
I signed up for couchsurfing in 2013, but never used it so I'm still "new" to this world. I'm thinking of making a habit out of extending some work trips and actually getting to know the cities I have to visit a bit more so I'm finally ready to join this amazing community!
I'm not shy in the least and I can usually talk to just about anybody about anything. I'm also quite comfortable on my own so I don't *need* someone to show me around, but it's always more fun with company :).
I LOVE to dance. Mostly bachata, but I'll give in to a little salsa now and then. Whenever I'm in a big city, the first thing I look for a place to dance at least one night.
I also love a good bottle of wine, movies, live music, or a simple long dinner with endless conversation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm couchsurfing because I have traveled alone in the past and while it was great, I always had the BEST time when I met a local and got to explore their cities through their eyes. Through couchsurfing I'm hoping to feel at home in the cities I visit and make real connections that could evolve into friendships.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can listen to almost any type of music except maybe heavy metal or hardcore rap, although I've been known to randomly like one or two from those genres as well.
I LOVE bachata music (because I love to dance to it), but when I'm in my car I'm typically listening to pop, classical, or talk radio. I just recently discovered The Read so I'm listening to that like ALL THE TIME now :).
My favorite movies are Amelie, As it is in Heaven, The Emperor's New Groove, and Bullets Over Broadway. On TV, I'm currently watching Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and Empire. I've watched the entire series Sailor Moon and Absolutely Fabulous at least 4 times each at this point.
Books: right now I'm reading a bunch of books about business and marketing. My favorite books from the past include Life of Pi, Ponniyin Selvan, Lamb, and One Hundred Years of Solitude.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I accidentally "swam" with a school of nurse sharks.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a natural teacher. One of my first jobs out of college was to teach first graders. These days I "teach" my clients how to start their own businesses. I have been told by my girl friends that I'm also pretty good at teaching them how to talk to guys :).
I'm a sponge. Always ready to learn!
I can share my time, experiences, and of course friendship :)
