About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore more of the German, Dutch, and other cultures as well as improving my German and Dutch speaking skills. I feel that I can enjoy my time more and learn much more with someone to share the experience with and explore with.
ABOUT ME
I'm athletic, very adventurous, love learning, daredevil, love exploring, and love the outdoors. I love playing just about every sport there is. I enjoy science, languages, and cultures. I have been in the German Club (Deutschklub) on campus for three years and enjoy the activities we do and events we attend. In 2009-2010 I spent my senior year of High School in Germany as a foreign exchange student and enjoyed my experience! I have a variety of interests, so I'm up to learning and trying new things.
PHILOSOPHY
Sports do not build character. They reveal it.
It's only a mistake if you never learn from it.
Don't believe in luck, believe in success which depends on a well thought out plan executed with precision.
People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.
What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.
Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway.
In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't Couchsurfed before 2014, but two friends of mine host people to couchsurf and recommended me to couchsurf. In 2014, I Couchsurfed in Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. I loved my experience! I stayed with a variety of different people with different interests. I recommend this for anyone to do. I feel that through Couchsurfing, you can explore a city or culture by living with people and what they enjoy doing. I know my vacation would have been completely different if I hadn't done Couchsurfing. It's a way to connect with the locals and live like they do instead of doing all the mainstream touristy things.
