ABOUT ME

I am a free-spirited, open-minded person who tends to go against convention in all forms. I take my job seriously. I am an educator and I am thankful at the opportunity I have to fulfill my lifelong dream of teaching. At the same time, I am passionate about traveling. It brings meaning to my life. I don't believe in doing things the common way. I don't believe in allowing society and its institutions dictate how a person lives their life. Be good to people, have a kind heart and do what pleases you. That is how I choose to live.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books- Historical fiction, current events, biographies, memoirs. Pretty much any genre except mysteries...
Music- Live performances, funky DJ's, anything unique and different.
Movies- I have a passion for rom-coms, but I also enjoy period films and the odd action-thriller. I also enjoy independent films as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am fortunate to be able to combine my two passions in life- teaching and traveling. I have had the opportunity to hike the great wall of China- something that I will never forget. I have ridden a camel through Giza to gaze at the great pyramids. There are so many more which I write about in my blog :)

Hmmmm. Life is too short. Enjoy it to the fullest. Don't be afraid to veer from your plan because sometimes the best experiences are those that are unplanned.
Well I am a teacher by profession so can teach you what I know about history and English :)
