I am a former barista and current International Relations student. I love exploring both cities and the great outdoors! I want to see and experience as much as I can of this beautiful world. I am a strong believer in living outside of my comfort zone!

My favorite part of traveling is meeting new people and sharing stories! And as a student who has to pay ridiculous American university tuition, I'm a huge fan of exploring without paying too much. I don't think you can get to know a place without talking to the people who live there, so that's a priority for me when I travel.

兴趣

I have been dancing (ballet, modern, improv) and cycling my whole life and started practicing yoga a few years ago. I adore a nice cup of tea, listening to live music and eating lots and lots of ice cream! I am also a news junkie and am forever down to talk politics.

Music: Straight up fiddle tunes, Andrew Bird, Alt-J, Alabama Shakes, Childish Gambino
Movies: Any Wes Anderson movie or "political action" movie, like Argo or Zero Dark Thirty. Also I recently saw Whiplash and fell in love.
Books: Favorite authors include Tim O'Brien, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Emily Bronte and Langston Hughes. I couldn't pick just one favorite book if I tried, but a beautifully bound collection of Langston Hughes' poems I received as a gift definitely comes close.

I have a yoga practice which I am happy to teach! I am not a professional yoga instructor but am slowly learning the Sutras and love to teach informal yoga classes for my friends at home :)
