Hello everyone! My name is Alicja and I’m a 24 year old student from Poland. I’m just an easy going youngster, curious about the world. I like spending time with people and I’m always very open to meet new ones. I’m about to finish my master’s studies in Food Technology and Human Nutrition and have plenty of ideas for the future life. I truly love animals, I have my amazing cat and as soon as I can I want to adopt a dog from a shelter. I love nature and feeling the connection between me and her. I like to do almost every kind of sport and spend my time active. And I love to have many friends around and just do some stupid stuff as often as we can! ;)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I feel that it’s a good idea to connect travelling with meeting new people around the world and getting to know other cultures, languages and customs. I also think that it can be a nice way of making new friends and sharing travel experiences. I feel that it’s different and a lot nicer to meet new friends and stay in their house, being able to know their lifestyle and in the same way host someone and show them around your place, than to stay in a hotel as a complete stranger. :)

For me music is Mark Knopfler :) in my eyes he is an absolute genius, gifted from above. If no other musician would exist, MK would be more than enough for me :P I love music in general and no matter much the style, but among my favourites are rock, blues, swing, old pop.
My favourite movie is Amelie, it combines a lot of good stuff in itself, magic, humor, Audrey Tautou, Paris.
Despite I don’t read a lot lot, one of the best books for me is Witcher by Andrzej Sapkowski. I also like to read books about psychology.
