My name is Alicja and I am from Poland. I enjoy meeting people from all over the world and listening to their stories. I really enjoy trying local cuisine when I visit new places. I love cooking and using different spices, it's interesting how different spices can change completely the taste of the meal. I like collecting spices when I travel and then try to use them at home in my kitchen :) I am also fascinated with human body, I am curious about how it works, I study medicine. I used to travel a lot during my studies, now I live and work in my hometown - Gdansk.

I think that couchsurfing gives you the oportunity to meet other human being in completely different circumstances than for example in a hostel: sharing a home with someone makes the opportunity to get to know a person better, I think it is a great way to make friends with so many amazing people out there! :)

兴趣

I am really interested in relationships between people and how the society works. I'm also fascinated in health and all we can do to be healthy in body and mind. I really like spending time in nature, it makes me feel relaxed. I love exploring landscapes, and I feel trapped if once in a while I don't go hiking or camping in some place far away from the big city and crowds.

When I'm in the mood for something deep I really like the psychological dramas, like series "The Affair" , "Enlightened" or "Big little lies", or movies "White Oleander", "Young and Beautiful".

But I also enjoy watching romantic comedies, or some fantasy from time to time.

As for the music, I like exploring different sounds and finding new music from all over the world. I used to play some instruments and sing in a band when I was in high school.
