About Me
Hello there!
I am games development student based in London, and there are many things that bring me euphoric joy, even the sight of a pretty leaf on the ground at times, but traveling surely ranks somewhere in the top 3.
I am a geek, atheist, wannabe programmer, and wannabe artist. I like tinkering, nature, dark and abstract humour, bouldering, straightforward attitude, things evoking the feeling of nostalgia, cyberpunk aesthetic, arthouse, camping, silence, random science articles
Usually I like to withdraw into myself and focus on work or hobby, refining something to perfection. And sometimes I am struck by hyperactivity, and the more new and chaotic things and new people during the day, the better.
If you work in tech/dev or are interested in games, 3D art, open source, hackathons, the more excited I am.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Long time ago I used Couchsurfing, visited a few countries, it was great -> then pandemic -> change of country -> studies -> and I forgot about the website. I want to get back to travelling, doing random fun things with random fun people on trips and and I totally can be your London tour guide as well.
As a broke student, well, I'm not entirely in a position to be a host, so I'll leave that for the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Road trip with a bunch of friends, being extremely on a budget, sometimes we didn't want to pay for hostels, so we used ordinary hammocks to sleep in parks and such. Waking up inappropriately early one day due to birds and soft rain on Gellert Hill and watching the sunset reflecting in the Danube River. That was amazing. A bit irresponsible counting the number of ticks I found on my arm that day, but I can't say I regret a thing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd be glad if you'd teach me basic phrases from your native language (if it's German or Russian it would be great to chat), show me your favorite place in the city if you have time, share you passion for something and talk about things you are knowledgable about - I love learning new thing.
I adore being a lonely traveler but I also think that exploring new places is as interesting as meeting intriguing people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you basic Polish phrases or something about small west Slavic dialects like Silesian or Goralski + tell you some fun facts about proto Slavic language, some cultural customs or mythology as I am very in touch with my roots.
If you are curious how games you play are made I can probably lift a bit the veil of secrecy for you.
If you ever wanted to learn how to draw and you want to spend 10 minutes during late free evening on architecturally drawing a cube, I can show you how. And if you have way too much time that late evening I can even make a small portrait for you - I often travel with some sketch book
I usually also carry with me small gifts from the country I fly from c:
+ I am happy to help you in house chores as a form of gratitude
