ABOUT ME

Hello couchsurfers, firstly I'd like to say that I'm very glad to be a part of this wonderful society! I'm a sociable and open-minded student of languages from Poland, trying to observe, listen, get to know and experience as much as possible.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm an optimist and I try to take advantage of every single moment in life. However, I think it is also important to give to other people a little of your own. I do my best but it's not always easy (everyone has inside a little selfish guy). I believe, that when we are good to others, this good is coming back to us. Some people call it 'karma'.

Being rich has nothing to do with money, it's about sharing and getting in return love, friendship, experiences any many others... Everyone has his own story to tell.

I think the worst thing that can happen in our life is loosing the curiosity and the ability to dream - that's the real reason why we start getting old.

I've been hosted 2 times and I hosted 2 people as well. Mainly meeting new people while traveling.

Interests

Generally, my interests are related to my studies: I really enjoy learning languages, traveling (obviously!), trying different kinds of food and meeting new people. In my free time, I hang out with friends (including parties of course) and discover different worlds of mine own in books and movies. However, my favorite kind of art and my great love is theater - being a spectator but sometimes performing on the stage as well. In winter, my passion is snowboarding.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mainly I listen to rock, light rock and indie. These are few of my favorite bands: Awolnation, Alt-J, Years&Years, Imagine Dragons, the Neighboorhood, Crystal Fighters, Kasabian, Kings of Leon, the Lumineers, Mumford and Sons, Lana Del Rey, Indochine, Ewert and the Two Dragons...

BOOKS: Carlos Ruiz Zafon (The Shadow of the Wind, The Angel's Game), motivation/couching (for example The power of self-confidence), Les liaisons dangereuses, Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austen in general), The Picture of Dorian Grey, The Master and Margarita, One flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, Nineteen Eighty-Four (1984), and of course... Harry Potter!
